Welcome To The Sigrid Rausing Trust

The Sigrid Rausing Trust is a grant-giving foundation based in London. It was founded in 1995 by Sigrid Rausing to support the international human rights movement.

We run four programmes: Civil and Political Rights, Women’s Rights, Minority Rights and Social and Environmental Justice. Each programme has a number of sub-programmes, which you will find by selecting a programme above.

Our guiding principles are:

• We are flexible and responsive to needs and opportunities.
• We value clarity and brevity in applications and reports.
• We establish long term relationships with grantees.

In 2009 the trustees intend to give away £20million.
