Association for the Prevention of Torture

The Association for the Prevention of Torture (APT) is a Swiss NGO founded in 1977, working to prevent torture and other ill treatment throughout the world. Recently APT’s efforts have focused on the adoption and implementation of the Optional Protocol to the Convention Against Torture (OPCAT).

SRT has supported APT since 2006.
Current grant: £450,000 over 3 years.
