Asylum Support Appeals Project
The Asylum Support Appeals Project (ASAP) was set up in 2005 to assist asylum seekers who are denied basic welfare support by the UK Border Agency and have no access to legal aid. Its volunteer legal advocates, drawn from four city law firms, take on all arguable cases and advise and represent several hundred destitute asylum seekers a year.
