Bahrain Centre for Human Rights

The Bahrain Centre for Human Rights (BCHR) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation founded in 2002. It aims to encourage and support individuals and groups to be proactive in the protection of their own and others' rights; and to promote democracy and human rights in accordance with international norms. Through its work it also tries to combat racial discrimination and provides support and protection for victims of human rights violations.
