Bulgarian Gender Research Foundation

The Bulgarian Gender Research Foundation (BGRF) is an independent women’s rights watchdog established by women’s rights activists and lawyers in 1998. It monitors discrimination against women and gender-based violence, provides legal assistance to victims of abuse, conducts strategic litigation, and runs educational, youth and legislative advocacy programmes.
