Center for Economic and Social Rights

The Centre for Economic and Social Rights (CESR) promotes social justice through human rights. It campaigns to ensure that governments and multilateral institutions comply with their obligations to respect, protect and fulfil economic and social rights as well as civil and political rights. CESR works with governments to mainstream social and economic rights in national policy-making; develops new tools to measure compliance; engages in capacity building; and advocates for greater accountability both within countries and internationally.
