Equipo Peruano de Antropologia Forense
EPAF was established by Peruvian anthropologists working in multinational forensic teams with the United Nations who sought to apply their skills to the problem of the disappeared in Peru, where an estimated 15,000 victims disappeared during the internal conflict from 1980 to 2000. Today, EPAF works within Peru and internationally. The Trust grant supports a data collection project related to deaths and disappearances in Mount Elgon, Kenya, carried out in partnership with Western Kenya Human Rights Watch.
