Forum for the Empowerment of Women
Forum for the Empowerment of Women (FEW) was the first black lesbian rights organisation in South Africa (established in 2002). It defends the constitutional rights of black lesbians to equality, documents and advocates against homophobic abuses. The Speak Project funded by the Trust is training 30 women in media campaigning on the issue of homophobic hate crimes.
