KARAT Coalition

Karat Coalition is a network of 50 women’s organisations and individuals from 24 countries of Central and Eastern Europe and Commonwealth of Independent States. It works for gender equality by monitoring the implementation of international agreements (e.g. Beijing Platform for Action, CEDAW, ILO conventions, EU gender equality standards and policies). Karat engages in awareness-raising, capacity-building and advocacy at the UN and EU level.
