OUT

Founded in 1994, OUT provides direct health services to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community in South Africa including a clinic and psychosocial services. It also engages in research, advocacy and trains mainstream government officials. SRT’s grant supported the first year of a five-year project to improve support to victims of the high rate of violence and murder in South African townships on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.
