Conflict: Current Grantees

Sexual violence in conflict is sometimes a strategy of war, and more often the result of ill-disciplined male soldiers let loose on civilian populations. The Trust's grantees provide medical, legal and psychological support for women who have been subjected to sexual violence. They advocate for changes in policy and practice relating to women’s rights in conflict situations. We fund organisations who have put these issues - particularly that of rape as a weapon in war - before the international community, especially peacekeepers and the International Criminal Court.
