Networks and Subgranters: Current Grantees

Networks and Funds play a critical role in developing and sustaining the women’s movement. Currently the Trust supports networks and coalitions in Africa and Central and Eastern Europe which stimulate and maintain contacts among women’s rights organisations and provide opportunities to amplify voices, share experiences and information, build capacity, and coordinate regional strategies. Women’s funds mobilise resources for women’s rights, and both fund and provide critical technical assistance to emerging or small grass roots organisations and women’s human rights defenders in urgent need. The Trust supports both global funds and regional funds in Central Europe, Africa and the Mediterranean region.
