Sisters in Islam

Sisters in Islam (SIS) is based in Malaysia and has been campaigning for two decades to “promote the rights of women within the frame of Islam.” They work on family law at the grassroots level in Malaysia, and act as conveners for a major effort they have called the Global Movement for Equality and Justice in the Muslim Family (Musawah).

SRT has supported SIS since 2005.
