The Advocates for Human Rights – Women’s Human Rights Programme

The Advocates for Human Rights (AHR) was established in 1983 and undertakes research, education and advocacy to reflect international human rights standards, and promote civil society and the rule of law. The Women’s Human Rights Programme of AHR documents and reports on violence against women, and partners with local non-governmental organisations, women’s rights advocates, legal professionals and international organisations to advance effective legal reform.
