Conciliation Resources

Conciliation Resources is an independent international organisation working with people in conflict to prevent violence, resolve conflicts and promote peaceful societies. It provides practical support to help people affected by violent conflict to achieve lasting peace, drawing on shared experiences to improve peacebuilding policies and practice worldwide. Since 1997 it has worked with local partners to identify and address the root causes and consequences of the 1992-93 Georgian–Abkhaz war. It supports people in a variety of ways to encourage debate and bring about positive change within and between their societies. SRT's grant supported the Memory Project, currently a key strand of Conciliation Resources' work in the Georgian-Abkhaz context.
