Corruption Watch

The aim of Corruption Watch is to fight corruption in both the public and the private sectors of South African society. Its principal aim is “to strengthen the accountability of those in a position to influence the deployment of, and access to, public resources.” Its strategies include data gathering and analysis; alliance-building; research; and investigation. The organisation was established under the initiative of the Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) and South African civil society groups concerned with corruption.
