Institute for Historical Justice and Reconciliation

The Institute for Historical Justice and Reconciliation (IHJR) promotes reconciliation in societies divided by historical conflicts and human rights abuses through a process of applied history. The IHJR is currently engaged in projects in the Middle East, Former Yugoslavia, Turkey and Armenia, and Kenya where the IHJR works with prominent scholars, respected human rights advocates, and community leaders to dispel public myths that can be exploited to promote ethnic and nationalist conflict.
