Uzbekistan Society for the Protection of Birds

Established in 2007, the Uzbekistan Society for the Protection of Birds (UzSPB) works to conserve birds, their habitats and wider biodiversity in Uzbekistan. Central to UzSPB’s approach is collaboration with NGOs, local communities and the government. Its activities include biological research and monitoring; key biodiversity area identification and protection; conservation education and youth capacity development; community engagement; and policy advocacy.
