We are working on two areas in this initiative: the decriminalisation of same-sex relationships in five countries, and the countering of so-called anti-LGBTI propaganda laws.
Our grantees work on advocacy and legislative change. In some contexts, we also support art projects that help shift public narratives, building support for change.
This initiative targets violence and extremism, promoting trust, hope and reciprocity in communities across the UK and Sweden.
Our grantees tackle the underlying drivers of extremism – social polarisation, deprivation, and community decline – by fostering cohesion and belonging, and by transforming degraded urban spaces into greener, safer, and more inclusive places.
Reparations for Victims of Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine
Our aim is to advance access to restitutions for Ukrainian survivors and to strengthen the recognition and protection of their rights.
Our grantees focus on access to reparations for survivors of conflict-related violence (including sexual violence), and advocating for policy and legal reforms to increase the financial accountability of perpetrators, including the use of seized assets for reparative purposes. These efforts include coordinated advocacy in Ukraine and at the international level, technical support, litigation, and campaigning.
More information will be shared on these initiatives as they evolve.
