Women's Resource Centre Armenia

Founded in 2003 as the first young women's resource centre in post-Soviet Armenia, Women's Resource Center Armenia (WRCA) works in the areas of women's human rights, reproductive and sexual rights, sexual violence, and women's role in conflict resolution and peace-building. It provides direct services to women, including a hotline on gender-based violence and a crisis centre which offers legal aid, counselling and broader support to individual women; training on women’s human rights, gender-based violence and sexual violence; research to provide evidence of inequality; and lobbying to advocate for changes to national legislation.
