Amazon Watch

Amazon Watch works to support the indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin to defend their human rights, cultures and territories against the depredations of extractive industries. Amazon Watch works in both the Amazon region and the USA. In the Amazon, it helps build legal, media and organisational capacity among indigenous communities and their support NGOs. In the US, it advocates for improved environmental and social policies by international financial institutions and US-based oil companies.
