For over 30 years, the Community Security Organisation (CSO) Cape Town has provided the essential foundation for Jewish life and the Jewish way of life for the Cape Town Jewish Community.  Delivering comprehensive safety, security and 24/7 medical emergency services, CSO Cape Town operates as the sole organisation in Africa offering this dual capability. CSO Cape Town safeguards synagogues, schools, communal organisations, and events. A network of 173 trained security volunteers and 5 full time medical professionals, supported by 10 dedicated medical volunteers and a 24/7 control room, ensures rapid response to all threats and emergencies.
