Eastern Caribbean Alliance for Diversity and Equality (ECADE)
The Eastern Caribbean Alliance for Diversity and Equality (ECADE), founded in 2016 and headquartered in Saint Lucia, is a human rights and social justice umbrella organisation uniting LGBTQI+ groups across nine island states of the eastern Caribbean. ECADE provides a platform for coordination, builds institutional capacity of local organisations, and drives regional strategies for equality. It aims to expand legal reforms and secure protections that ensure full recognition of the rights of LGBTQ+ people, while empowering communities to organise, engage and lead change.
