Rozana

Established in 2013, Rozana International promotes equitable access to healthcare in Israel and Palestine. Rozana’s founding premise is that health, as a fundamental human right, can provide a platform for peacebuilding between communities engaged in protracted conflict. Headquartered in Switzerland, there are affiliate offices in Canada, the USA, the UK, Israel, Australia and Germany, with a representational office in Palestine. Rozana’s work spans healthcare diplomacy, from humanitarian responses to long-term capacity building. They facilitate cross-border cooperation and training across three core programmes: Gaza Community Health (humanitarian and rehabilitation healthcare); Women4Women (a mobile clinic); Social Cohesion in Israeli Hospitals (strengthening trust between practitioners). The organisation intends its model to be adaptable to other conflict settings and is strictly non-denominational.
