Spotlight on Corruption

Spotlight on Corruption, founded in 2019, promotes strong, transparent and accountable institutions so that corruption is not tolerated and democracy can flourish in the UK and globally. It conducts evidence-based research on the enforcement of UK anti-corruption laws and international commitments, alongside a unique court monitoring programme. This analyses how corruption and economic crime cases are handled in England and Wales, supported by an enforcement tracker on prosecutions, asset recovery and corporate sanctions. The organisation also works with journalists and civil society partners in the UK and internationally to expose corruption, challenge impunity and advocate for stronger legal and enforcement systems.
