Sudan Transparency and Policy Tracker

Established in 2022 and registered in the United States, the Sudan Transparency and Policy Tracker (STPT) is an independent research and policy organisation documenting the political economy of conflict in Sudan. Working with a network of journalists and expert sources across the country and on both sides of the conflict, STPT investigates the financial, political and criminal networks that sustain the conflict, with the aim of informing national and international efforts to advance peace, accountability and post-conflict reconstruction.

STPT publishes the Sudan Conflict Monitor alongside research, analysis and policy briefings, and contributes expertise to governments, international organisations and research institutions. It also engages with Sudanese civil society and international policymakers to strengthen understanding of the conflict and support evidence-based responses.
