The Universal Sponsorship Pathway UK (USPUK)
The Universal Sponsorship Pathway UK (USPUK) began in March 2022 with the initial aim of assisting Ukrainians fleeing Russia’s invasion and seeking refuge in the UK. It developed expertise in navigating and advising on the UK Government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme, ensuring safe and lasting partnerships between the displaced and their British hosts. Now refugee-led, USPUK continues to offer its matching service, which has since been expanded to include Afghan arrivals. Additionally, the group provides programmes designed to ease integration and support positive resettlement on these shores. These include: a community advice hub; wellbeing programme; and English classes.
