TV for the Environment (TVE)

Television for the Environment, or TVE, was founded in 1984 by the United Nations Environment Programme, WWF-UK, and Central Television (now ITV). The organisation’s mission is to use the power of storytelling to drive real world change for a more sustainable future. It does this by producing, co-producing and distributing audio-visual content about the management, conservation and sustainable development of natural resources. TVE also develops tools, strategies, events and platforms to help others more effectively use the medium of film to communicate about conservation and the environment. It is the only UK-based non-profit specifically working on social impact film around such issues.
