Ukraine War Archive

The Ukraine War Archive (“the Archive”) was established in the UK 2024, but started work as a volunteer project just after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The Archive preserves and organises data gathered by individuals who have documented the war (including filmmakers, journalists, NGOs etc.). It also includes open-source information to make this accessible and usable for accountability and memorialization efforts. The Archive has additionally created a range of technical tools such as a platform to allow for the search for missing persons during the war.
