Professor Sir Jeffrey Jowell QC is the inaugural Director of the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law and a practising barrister at Blackstone Chambers. He is Emeritus Professor of Public Law at University College London and the recent UK member on the Council of Europe’s Commission for Public Law (“The Venice Commission”).
