Laura Dowley
Programme Officer for Environment
Laura Dowley is a Programme Officer for the Environment. She came to the Trust from ClientEarth, where she worked as a lawyer holding corporates in agricultural and seafood supply chains accountable for environmental destruction, climate change and related human rights violations. She trained as a solicitor at a corporate law firm in London. She has represented death row inmates in Pakistan, refugees and asylum-seekers in Europe and Mexico, and communities affected by harmful mining and infrastructure projects in Mexico.
Laura has a BA in French and Italian from the University of Oxford, and an MA in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of London. She did her GDL and LPC at BPP Law School.
