Campaign Against Arms Trade
Founded in the UK in 1974, the Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT) is a not-for-profit peace campaigning organisation which works generally for the reduction and ultimate abolition of the international arms trade, together with progressive demilitarisation within arms-producing countries. The Trust’s grant supports CAAT’s research to uncover and make accessible information about the UK Trade and Investment Defence and Security Organisation (UKTI DSO), a taxpayer-funded unit which supports and promotes UK arms sales.
