Sikkuy

Sikkuy (a ‘chance’ or ‘opportunity’ in Hebrew) is a non-partisan NGO that aims to advance equality between the Palestinian Arab and Jewish citizens of Israel. They address resource allocation, employment policy, land usage and access to government services. Sikkuy works at national municipal and grassroots level, focusing on the advancement of civic equality between Arab and Jewish citizens, fostering cooperation at the level of local government through the establishment of the Jewish-Arab Mayors’ Forum, and providing support at the grassroots to local groups of Jewish and Arab citizens to develop leadership skills for community-based action against discrimination.
