Fundația ADEPT Transilvania

Established in 2014, ADEPT is a Romanian biodiversity conservation and rural development NGO based in Saschiz. ADEPT stands for ‘Agricultural Development and Environmental Protection in Transylvania’. The organisation works collaboratively with farming communities and policy-makers to find pragmatic, mutually beneficial ways to secure both biodiversity conservation and rural economic viability. It operates across Transylvania’s Târnava Mare area, a critical High Nature Value landscape and highly biodiverse hotspot of European importance.

SRT has supported ADEPT since 2019.
