Public Law Project (PLP)

Public Law Project (PLP) was founded in 1990 to ensure transparency and accountability in the UK government, with a particular focus on poorer or disadvantaged groups. They work to improve decision making and to facilitate access to justice. Public Law Project carries out research and policy work, training and support to lawyers and advisors, and legal casework as well as strategic litigation. PLP’s main programme areas include: access to legal aid and judicial review; benefit sanctions, online courts; and the constitutional implications of Brexit.
