Founded in 2002 and based in New Delhi, Ban Asbestos India works to spread awareness of the hazardous impact of asbestos, campaigns for the elimination of asbestos from building materials in India, and advocates for the rights of people affected with asbestos-related illnesses such as mesothelioma.
