British Institute of Human Rights (BIHR)
Founded in 1974, the British Institute of Human Rights (BIHR)’s mission is to help people and organisations use human rights law, language and principles to protect the most vulnerable, and to embed human rights principles into day-to-day policymaking and public service delivery. It seeks to achieve this by providing information, training and consultancy about human rights to a wide range of voluntary, community and public bodies at national, regional and grassroots levels to help them run more effective campaigns and deliver better services.
