Children’s Legal Centre

The Children’s Legal Centre (CLC) is based at the University of Essex. It works to promote children’s rights in the UK and worldwide. The grant provides general support to the CLC’s International Section, enabling it to build on existing initiatives and develop new programmes focused on the reform of child protection and juvenile justice systems in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Georgia. A small portion of the grant is sub-granted to two children’s rights centres in Tajikistan.
