Conciliation Resources

Conciliation Resources was established in 1994, with a vision of transforming the way the world resolves violent conflict so that people work together to build peaceful and inclusive societies. Conciliation Resources brings people together to find creative and sustainable paths to peace – providing mediation support, promoting dialogue between divided groups, engaging with armed groups and advocating for the inclusion of marginalized voices in peace processes. The organization is currently active in eight regions of conflict worldwide, and explores further thematic areas and contexts through its Accord publication series and cross-regional programmes. Over the past 20 years in the South Caucasus, Conciliation Resources has partnered with local peacebuilding organisations working on the Nagorny Karabakh and the Georgian-Abkhaz conflicts, facilitating cross-conflict and internal dialogue, coordinating and implementing joint local initiatives, and supporting outreach to influence public discourse. Conciliation Resources has in recent years deepened its work on dealing with the past with a focus on addressing memories and narratives of past violence in the South Caucasus.
