Disability Rights Fund

The Disability Rights Fund (DRF) was created to respond to the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in 2006. The fund supports disabled people’s organisations in the Global South and Eastern Europe/former Soviet Union and helps them to advocate for the ratification and implementation of the Convention. Current priority countries for the Fund are: Peru, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Ghana, Namibia, Bangladesh, India, Mexico and Ukraine and 14 Pacific Island Countries.
