Global Doctors for Choice

Formed in 2007, and sponsored by Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health (PRCH) and the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, Global Doctors for Choice (GDC) is a global network of doctors from Latin America, Europe, Africa and the USA. GDC trains doctors in advocacy skills so that they become visible and effective voices for women’s reproductive health and rights in partnership with domestic legal, health care and women’s rights organisations. GDC has programs in Brazil, Colombia, Ghana, Mexico and South Africa.
