Global Resilience Fund

The Global Resilience Fund (GRF) is a participatory rapid-response funding mechanism to move flexible resources to young feminists hosted by We Are Purposeful. Launched in May 2020 to respond to the Covid pandemic, it has also supported young feminists during other recent crises including in Afghanistan and Myanmar. GRF supports Ukrainian young feminist activists through emergency funding to provide humanitarian aid, transport and shelter, and support people crossing borders into neighbouring countries. The Global Resilience Fund was awarded an emergency grant of £30,000 in March 2022 in response to the crisis in Ukraine. The grant will be used to provide direct financial support to young Ukrainian feminists.
