Green Salvation

Established in 1990, Green Salvation is a small Almaty-based organisation that works to protect environmental human rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan. This includes the right to an adequate standard of living, the procedural rights protected by the Aarhus Convention and the constitutionally-protected right to a healthy environment. Its main strategies include public education, investigations, policy advocacy and strategic litigation.
