Health and Environment Alliance (HEAL)

The Health and Environment Alliance (HEAL) is a network of over 50 health charities, professional associations of health professionals and environmental groups

Founded in 2004, HEAL is a membership organisation of 90 health, environmental, women’s and public interest organisations which promotes a clean, toxic-free environment through synthesising and communicating evidence on the health impacts of chemicals, pesticides and air pollution. Through its secretariat in Brussels, it provides a public health perspective to politicians and policy makers; seeking to influence law, policy and public debate.

The Trust was an early funder of HEAL between 2006-2009, supporting the group to establish its chemicals work.
