Human Rights League

Human Rights League is a civic association established in 2005 in Slovakia. Their aim is to support transparent and responsible immigration, asylum and integration policies which respect human rights and dignity. The organisation was awarded an emergency grant of £90,000 in March 2022 in response to the crisis in Ukraine. The grant will support national and local efforts to assist new arrivals, including providing legal information and accommodation referrals, advocacy for particularly vulnerable groups coming from Ukraine (including non-Ukrainians and LGBTI persons), as well as re-opening the organisation’s Košice office.
