Hurras Network
Founded in 2011, the Hurras Network is a collective of Syrian activists committed to a non-violent approach to realising change in Syria through working with children and youth. Its members advocate for human rights, the protection of civic space and the empowerment and participation of youth in a transition to democracy. The Hurras Network aims to ensure, both now and in the future, that all parties involved in the process of change adhere to international humanitarian law and other international human rights standards.
An emergency grant of £14,000 was granted in April 2023.
