PaRiter

Established in Rijeka (northern Croatia) in 2014, PaRiter (Latin for equally) is an organisation that aims to promote civic activism and human rights education at the local and national level, with a special focus on gender equality and sexual and reproductive rights. It conducts advocacy and research on public policies and legislation, hosts local radio shows, and runs two online platforms providing comprehensive information on sexual and reproductive rights – the first of its kind in the country. PaRiter also leads workshops on sex education for youth in the city of Rijeka.
