Penal Reform International

Penal Reform International (PRI) promotes criminal justice and penal reform worldwide. PRI’s aims are to tackle the over-use of imprisonment, arguing that prison populations worldwide reflect the poorest and most vulnerable in society. PRI engages with governments and civil society to develop and implement practical and replicable models of reform, and engages in international advocacy to seek broad change in penal policy at national and international levels.
