Re:Baltica

Re:Baltica is a small, non-profit investigative journalism centre based in Latvia, and working additionally in Lithuania and Estonia. Its aim is to “strengthen public institutions, reduce corruption, and promote human rights through high-quality investigative journalism”. It has conducted high-profile investigations on topics including corruption, crime, finance, business, health and human rights. As well as offering its investigative news stories to Baltic media outlets, it promotes new technology such as mapping and crowd-sourcing; trains journalists; and organises international journalism conferences to allow reporters to share their methods.
