Tbilisi Shelter City

Established in 2016, Tbilisi Shelter City provides temporary relocation to support human rights defenders at risk from Central Asia, the Caucasus, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and on a limited basis from the Balkans and CEE. It provides a safe space for rehabilitation and respite, including medical and psychological assistance in Russian and opportunities for professional and personal development, including training, security management and planning, English-language courses and driving lessons. Tbilisi Shelter City especially tries to identify women human rights defenders to support and especially those from outside capitals cities.
